Friday Favorites & A Look Inside My Home Office

The weekend is upon us…hooray!  One of my favorite weekly activities is going to the Saturday morning Farmers Market.  We gather farm fresh eggs, veggies, honey, milk & meat that’ll serve as the base for most of our meals throughout the week.  Besides that, this weekend will be low key, which seems to be the norm as of late.  It allows me to really enjoy this time with little R and to get a few things done around the house.  Speaking of which, I have photographed our home office/play space to share with you!  It was a work in progress as I tried to figure out the most practical way to divide the room while also making it somewhat aesthetically pleasing (it couldn’t be drab and boring!).  I am quite pleased with our modest little space.  I decided to use our sunroom because of the gorgeous natural light.   So here we are.  This is my half of the room with my desk and supplies…
…and this is little R’s half, which I will eventually separate with a baby gate.  He isn’t crawling yet so I’ll keep you updated on the changes as he becomes mobile.
The little rocking chair belonged to his daddy when he was little.  And most of the other toys were gifts or gently used hand me downs.  We are so thankful to our dear family and friends that love on him as much as we do!  Now on to our other favorites for the week…

For Little R (27 weeks)…
trying more solid foods: zucchini, oatmeal, & pear (all homemade)
grabbing for toys that he wants
babbling a lot (I think there was a ‘dada’ in there at one point!)

For myself…
ordering supplies for my online calligraphy course
eyeing sweet potato burgersbaked oatmeal, & roasted garbanzos for the weekend
reflecting on a year in film for our weddings

For all the mamas & mamas-to-be…
pinning colorful birthday party straws and photo booth
making yummy baby food pops
sharing an instagram photostrip tutorial

Do you have any home office/play spaces to share?  If so, leave a link in the comments for others to see.  Have a beautiful weekend!  xoxo…..*holly
